Steve Roy
Born and raised in Skowhegan Maine Steve Roy is the local expert many residents depend on for their real estate needs. Steve uses the most modern real estate tools and technology available in order to ensure his clients receive the highest quality of service.
Steve was educated in the Skowhegan school system and is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy the class of 1978 with a degree in Marine Engineering. He has worked in a variety of fields that have contributed to his extensive knowledge of buildings, systems and real estate.
In 2008 Steve was chosen by his peers as the REALTOR of the year for the Northern Council of the Kennebec Board of Realtors. He has six years of active participation on the board of directors for the Kennebec Valley Board of Realtors culminating with a term as the board President.
Married for 31+ years, Steve and his wife Calla, a kindergarten teacher for 30+ years in the Winslow school system have raised 4 Children, Nicholas, Matthew, Andrew and Amanda. They are also the proud grandparents of Lillian, Lorelei and Anaia.
Steve has been very active in the Winslow community coaching football, Ice hockey, Softball and has held various directors positions on the local sports booster boards and Project Graduation boards. Steve has been consistently a Top Producer and is certified thru Cendant and USAA as a relocation Specialist and holds the Top Block Agent designation.
